For everyday worsted-weight projects, you can't beat Cascade 220. It comes in dozens of colors, including tweeds, and felts beautifully. We also carry Lamb's Pride from Brown Sheep in worsted and bulky weights. This one-ply yarn also felts wonderfully and is available in many colors. A third choice is Chuckanut Bay Perendale. This New Zealand wool has superior loft and spring, and comes in big hanks. And for bulky-weight projects we also carry big, 400-yard skeins of Eco Plus yarn. Last but not least is Manos Del Uruguay, a hand-spun, hand-dyed, truly unique yarn made by a women's work cooperative.

For a premium knitting experience, consider Mountain Colors wool from Montana. It's hand-painted in fabulous variegated shades and is a pure delight to knit with. We also carry matching mohair, merino ribbon and boucle moguls.

Sock knitters can choose from a big selection of heathered and self-patterning washable wool, or go for a premium experience with either Koigu or Shepherd's Lace hand-dyed wool.

Lace knitters can choose from hand-painted Helen's Lace and fingering weight wool.

If you're knitting for baby you'll find Dale of Norway's Baby Ull in many colors. We also carry washable lamb's wool, and yarns made of acrylic and acrylic blends.

If washability is important to you, we carry several brands of superwash wool, including Cascade 220 superwash, an ultra-soft superwash merino, and Ksar, a machine-wash camel-hair/wool blend that's incredibly cuddly.
