Simplest Cowl Redux

We got a lot of opinions on which colors to use for our newest version of the Simplest Cowl. Hannah decided to use the light purple Kidsilk Haze and knocked out this little cowl in no time. Zinnia, a Different Option

We decided to make a second sample of our current knitalong sweater, Zinnia. The original is knit in Kenzie, a delicious combination of merino, nylon, alpaca, angora and silk noil. It creates a tweedy fabric with a light haze. For our second model we chose Spud & Chloe Sweater, a superwash wool and organic cotton blend. Sweater creates a smooth, dense fabric. Can You Name This Monster?

Hannah just knit up this adorable monster for the shop out of Amy Butler Belle Aran. She is from Rebecca Danger’s The Big Book of Knitted Monsters. The pattern is named Gort the Gym Bag Monster but we think she is too cute to be named Gort. Cathy has suggested Trixie or Flossie. What do you think? Give us your monster naming suggestions on our Facebook page.
