A Sweet Fall Knitalong
Start with a form-flattering open sweater, add a border that pops with interest, and you have the Fiber Gallery’s fall knitalong, the Sweet Root cardigan. The sweater was designed especially for us by up-and-coming designer Cory Ellen Boberg of indie.knits. A Northwest design deserves Northwest yarn, and so we paired it with Imperial Yarn’s delightful sport-weight Tracie Too. Like Imperial’s other yarns, Tracie Too is spun from the company’s own herd of Columbia sheep raised near the eastern slopes of Mount Hood. It’s light and springy and a delight to knit.
