Join the inimitable photographer, designer, cartoonist and knitting historian Franklin Habit on Thursday, September 8 in an exploration of lace edgings. These edgings are among the most beautiful, varied and useful patterns in the world of knitting. Applied with care and skill, they can lift an ordinary project into the extraordinary. In this Franklin Habit class, we’ll practice several edging techniques, including knitted-on, sewn-on, and simultaneous. Participants must be comfortable with basic lace knitting techniques, including simple chart reading. Limited spaces are available in the class, which will run from 6 to 9 p.m. and costs $70. Please call us at 206-706-4197 to register.
